Lay Leadership Summit, 2006!Last year I received a phone call from a fellow asking me if I'd be interested at speaking at a conference/summit designed for church lay leaders. At first I was surprised at the invitation and after learning more about it, I eagerly decided to accept the invitation to speak -- and had a wonderful time doing so!This year I have once again been asked to speak at the 2006 Lay Leadership Summit for which I am both honored and excited! The Lay Leadership Summit is the largest gathering of Spirit filled lay leaders in the United States and serves as a dynamic one-stop leadership development resource for both pastors and lay leaders! This years summit is on October 13th and 14 and located at Capital Christian Center in Sacramento, California. This year they will have nearly 200 break out sessions and four general sessions, and has something for everyone in ministry! This year's featured general-session speakers will be:- Focus on the Family's H.B. London- Willow Creek's Greg Bowman - Vertical Record's Lincoln Brewster leading worship - Pastor and author Gene Roncone - Radiant Life's Clancy Hayes (sorry clancy, I couldn't find your website) I have been invited to speak at three different break out sessions (wow!) related to the internet and web technology.
